This has got to be the story of the year. Apparently, two die-hard star wars fans in the UK were filming a light sabre fight as one of the light sabres (they're actually fluorescent tube) broke and injured themselves.

It's a good thing you didn't have any 'die-hard fans like that at your Quake championships after watching you play. Next thing you know, there's a big hole in the ground, and a body 100 feet away laying next to a rocket launcher, and witnesses were saying that the victim was showing them how to rocket launch.
hahah that's the reason why I haven't seen the movie yet. I'll become an innocent statisctic fallen victim of fanaticism. I just can't imagine myself sitting next to a wannabe Darth Vader and a wannabe Obi-Wan fighting it out with halloween flash lights as light sabers.
