smart cat

Happened this morning when I realized that my co-worker Michael had stayed overnight at the office:

Me: So I heard that you stayed overnight at the office?

Michael: Yeah.  I've got a lot to do and my cat won't let me go to bed late at home.  He starts making as much sound as possible by 1am to annoy me until I go to bed.  

Me: Why don't you try changing the times on all your clocks at your hosue so that he won't think that it's so late?

Michael:  I've tried!  It didn't work!
