According to the article:
Cellular phone service has been shut off in four busy New York commuter tunnels since last week's deadly blasts in London, officials said on Monday.
So after the terrorists have bombed us with planes, they treat everyone like terrorists at airports; and now that the terrorists might have detonated bombs using cell phones, they treat all cell phone users as terrorists?!?!
Don't get me wrong here. I understand what our government is trying to do, but there are certain things they are doing that, even when being enforced, will not really stop the terrorists from attacking us. I actually applaud the british for saying "life goes on" after the London attacks, because what we are doing here is, ahem, pretty wussy.
Let's remember this - the United States has about 295 million people. The largest terrorist attack on US soil so far (9/11) killed approximately 3000 people. Based on that, assuming the terrorists have the same amount of interest in attacking any city/suburb in the US, you've got ~0.001017% chance of getting killed by a terrorist. So let's not get too sucked into the media with all the terror talks and just let us live our normal lives.
